Betts rescues Sox: Mookie Betts is having a down year overall, but he showed the tools that made him an MVP candidate last season in the eighth inning. After the Red Sox loaded the bases against the Reds in a 4-1 game, Betts cleared the bases with a double to left-center off of Red closer Rafael Iglesias. That was just the beginning of the big inning for Betts though, as the speedster managed to score on an infield single by Rafael Devers to give the Sox a 5-4 lead.
