Rob Gronkowski on Texans game: 'I'm good to go, I'm ready' taken at BSJ Headquarters (Patriots)

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who left Sunday's game against New Orleans with a knee injury, told reporters today he's set to play this week against the Texans.

"Yeah, I'm good to go, I'm ready," he said.

WR Danny Amendola (concussion) also expressed similar thoughts on his availability, so the Patriots appear to be in decent shape pending the official injury report.

Additionally, the Patriots signed former Texans WR Riley McCarron, who is a doppelganger for Wes Welker, to the practice squad. Good guy to have around and to develop for that slot role.
