Bruins camp: Day 1, first session

As expected, it was a high-tempo practice for the first session on Day 1 at Warrior Ice Arena.

Here are some quick observations from the morning session. The second group takes the ice at 1 p. m.

Bruce Cassidy began with a fun drill with two groups at each end of the ice playing keep away. . . It didn’t take long for forward Matt Beleskey to stun goalie Zane McIntyre with a shot off the mask. . . Forward Peter Cehlarik (shoulder) was wearing a red no-contact practice sweater.
