Amendola, Hightower missing from start of Wednesday practice

Linebacker Dont’a Hightower, wide receiver Danny Amendola and defensive lineman Vincent Valentine were not spotted at the start of Patriots practice on Wednesday.



Hightower suffered a knee injury in last Thursday’s season opener against the Chiefs, while Amendola left the game with a head injury. And Valentine missed Week One’s loss with a knee injury.

The Patriots will face the Saints in New Orleans on Sunday.
