Good morning!
By the way, did you see Andrew Benintendi's catch last night?!

Anyways, seeing as we almost certainly will hit 5,000 subscribers today before our 50th day of existence (48!), I have some great site news.
BostonSportsJournal.com is pleased to announce that Miguel Benzan will be a contributing writer to the site on a regular basis going forward. Miguel's salary-cap page has been an invaluable resource for fans and media members alike for years, and we look forward to making BSJ the new home for all of his information in the very near future.
Really, we couldn't be more excited. Miguel is an expert on the Patriots' salary cap, which is almost its own beat now. He's just a dedicated Patriots fanatic who wanted to help out his fellow diehards, so he started keeping track of the comings and goings on the cap.
The plan is for him to write once or twice a week (really, as much as he wants — and he's a nut about the cap, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's more than that), and he'll do a weekly chat to answer all your cap-related questions. And, eventually, we'll be bringing over his Patriots salary-cap database into our system.
His first story is here, breaking a little news on the salary cap.
The two "additions" we've made so far — Dr. Jessica Flynn, and Miguel (two of the biggest Patriots fans I know, by the way) — are two moves I've had in mind even before we launched the site. We want to give you as much value for your hard-earned buck as we can. Like I told you at the start, we will grow as the subscription numbers allow us to. The response has been fantastic so far, and we have big plans. These additions are just the beginning. We have other contributors in mind, and then we're hoping to add more staff soon.
We couldn't do any of this without you. So keep telling your friends and family, spreading the word about our subscriptions in message boards, giving gift annual subscriptions to your sons and daughters away at college or living elsewhere, and we'll be expanding even quicker.
Have a great Sunday, and away we go!
