Source: Kyle Van Noy gets two-year extension

The Patriots have given a two-year contract extension to linebacker Kyle Van Noy, according to a league source.

The 26-year-old Van Noy, who was traded to the Patriots last October, is a 6-foot-3, 243-pounder out of BYU who has started three games for New England since last year’s trade. With the Patriots, he has one interception and two passes defensed, as well as one sack.
