Patriots linebacker Dont’a Hightower suffered a minor MCL sprain in the season-opening loss to the Chiefs, and could play on Week Two against the Saints, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.
Hightower went down in the third quarter of Thursday's game when it appeared he had his right knee caught underneath the pile after a running play. He was helped to the sidelines before he spent time on the stationary bike. He later had his knee wrapped, and stayed on the sidelines for the rest of the night.
