FOXBOROUGH — Offensive tackle Cameron Fleming returned to practice for the Patriots on Tuesday as prep work continued for the regular-season opener Thursday night against the Chiefs.
Fleming’s status — from DNP to limited — was the only change in New England’s injury report from Monday. (The Stanford product has been apparently battling an ankle injury.) Meanwhile, defensive lineman Vincent Valentine (knee) missed practice for the second consecutive day.
In addition, defensive lineman Adam Butler (knee), safety Nate Ebner (shoulder), linebacker Harvey Langi (concussion), wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell (knee) and special teamer Matthew Slater (hamstring) were all limited for the Patriots on Tuesday.
