Cyrus Jones is out for the 2017 season with a torn ACL and partially torn meniscus.
The cornerback went down in the first half of Thursday’s preseason finale against the Giants when he was stride for stride in coverage on a deep ball pass attempt. The Alabama product was having an eventful preseason to that point, and some had considered him on the bubble when it came to landing a roster spot. Now, he’ll sit for the rest of the year. According to Rapoport, post-MRI, Jones will wait for the swelling to go down then have surgery
