Mitchell, Solder among missing, but Slater and Burkhead spotted at start of Patriots' practice

FOXBOROUGH — Malcolm Mitchell, Nate Ebner, Harvey Langi, Shea McClellin, Tony Garcia, Nate Solder were all missing at the start of Monday’s Patriots’ practice, as well as Julian Edelman and Derek Rivers.



The good news? Special teams captain Matthew Slater and running back Rex Burkhead were back on the field. It was the first time Slater has been spotted on the field since the second week of training camp. In addition, defensive ends Geneo Grissom and Deatrich Wise were on the field, and appeared to be full participants.

UPDATE: Monday, 3 p.m. Solder was spotted in the locker room in full gear following practice.
