BSJ Daily Briefing 08.28.17

So, we need to talk about the Red Sox.

They were just swept — at home, mind you — by the Orioles, who were four games under .500 until coming to Fenway Park. Now the Sox lead the Yankees by just 2.5 games as they head to Toronto (three games) and New York (four).

Anybody else getting a little tight?

They have done this before and responded. Let's see if they can continue that this week on the road. But, man, it's hard to feel all that confident in a team that goes this hot and cold, at least going forward. They got swept by the Indians last year. What we're seeing now is supposed to make fans feel they're that much better this time around if they get another chance?
