Bergeron deserves better in NHL Network rankings

It didn’t take long for Bruins fans to shake their heads at the fact that Patrice Bergeron was ranked No. 11 on the NHL Network’s “Top 20 Centers Right Now.”

It’s hard to argue with the Top 3.

  1. Connor McDavid, Edmonton Oilers
  2. Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh Penguins
  3. Evegeni Malkin, Pittsburgh Penguins

I don’t necessarily agree with the order. I would go with Crosby as No. 1, followed by McDavid and Malkin. Crosby is the best player in the world. In the near future, McDavid will own that title. And, you can’t fault Malkin, because he been a big reason for Pittsburgh’s back-to-back titles.
