BSJ Daily Briefing 08.01.17

Good morning!

People out there doubt this whole idea, and you loyal supporters for signing up so early in the process, but guess what? Monday, when the paywall went up, we had our highest number of paid subscribers(297) since our second day of operation. So thank you very much. We don't expect those numbers to sustain, but even if we average 50 new subscribers per day for the rest of BSJ's first year of operation, that brings us to almost 20,000 subscribers exactly.

That's the goal, and it's our job to get us all there. That will only come from a lot of hard work, and good work on our part. We'll be working hard to do just that. Man, I can't wait until Celtics and Bruins camps get rolling here shortly. Then we'll really be moving.

WHERE ARE THE APPS?!

I know, I know. I hear you loud and clear. We want the iOS and Android apps just as badly as you do, because they will only enhance the BSJ experience . I just don't know what to tell you. The apps were submitted two weeks ago. We're just waiting for them to push them through. Hopefully that's very, very soon.

Red Sox 

Sean McAdam continues to working hard, churning out really good content.

It started off with his Live Q&A on deadline day.

It continued with Addison Reed coming over from the Mets.

Really liked the column on how the Sox and Dave Dombrowski might regret not getting a bat.

Then there was the actual game and live coverage of the 6-2 win over the Fighting Franconas.

And how about Doug Fister last night?

Patriots

No camp practice, but we still had some good stuff.

I looked at the offensive players through four practices.

Chris Price looked at new TE Dwayne Allen, and the continuity of the offensive line.

Chris was also on in Pittsburgh talking about the Steelers and Patriots.
