A note to the readers about Bruins coverage

As you can see, we aren't full tilt on Bruins yet. The biggest reason (outside of the NHL being on vacation) is our Bruins reporter can't start for about three weeks. I could have hired others and hit the ground running, but this site isn't about today or tomorrow. It's about covering the team and serving you the best way possible in the long term. So the most important thing was getting the right person to do that. I know we have that person, and they'll be worth the wait.

Trust me, I'm not slighting the puckheads. As you've probably seen on my Twitter account over the years, I care a great deal about the Bruins, and they will be a huge part of this site going forward. We have some things in the works during this dead time in the NHL calendar until our reporter gets on board, so stay tuned.

Thank you for your patience and sticking with us. We'll be up to speed, and before you know it, BSJ will be all over training camp.
