PREGAME NOTES

The Bruins will once again be shorthanded on Sunday, with David Pastrnak and Hampus Lindholm expected to miss another game due to an undisclosed and upper-body injury, respectively. 

Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy sat out of Saturday’s practice due to maintenance, but are expected to play on Sunday. 

Linus Ullmark is expected to make his second straight start in net on Sunday. In his last seven appearances, Ullmark has posted a .938 save percentage. 

The Capitals will be on the second leg of a back-to-back slate after posting a 6-3 victory against the Penguins on Saturday. Vitek Vanecek could get the start for the Caps after Ilya Samsonov started the day before.
