FINAL: Raiders 30, Patriots 24 - Jakobi Meyers throws lateral to Chandler Jones to lose game taken at BSJ Headquarters (Patriots)

The Patriots ... I'm having trouble with the words to describe the indescribable ...

The Patriots were god-awful in the first half, trailed 17-3 at halftime. They roared to life with 21 straight points that was kick-started by a Kyle Dugger pick-6.

With less than 2 minutes to go and the Patriots leading 24-17, the Raiders converted a 4th and 10 and Derek Carr hit Keelan Cole for a controversial touchdown with 37 seconds left. It appeared Cole stepped out, but the referee let the call stand.

Then 3 seconds left to play from the New England 45-yard line, Rhamondre Stevenson ran for 23 yards, lateraled it to Jakobi Meyers, who decided to throw it back to Mac Jones. But Chandler Jones picked it off, stiff-armed Jones and scored an improbable game-winning touchdown.

The loss leaves the Patriots 7-7 and facing a tough road to the playoffs.

LAST WEEK

Rams 17, Raiders 16: Vegas became the first team to lose four double-digit halftime leads in a season. The Raiders scored on their first three drives and gained 177 yards to take a 13-3 lead before things went south. On its final six possessions, Las Vegas mustered only a field goal, turned the ball over twice and went three-and-out three times. Las Vegas was driving for a clinching score late in the first half before Derek Carr was picked off by Ernest Jones in the end zone.

Patriots 27, Cardinals 13: Arizona grabbed a 13-7 lead and were driving for more when the Cardinals failed on a fourth-down play. The Patriots scored the next 20 points to win this game that saw Kyler Murray leave with a season-ending injury after three plays. Raekwon McMillan's 23-yard scoop-and-more of a DeAndre Hopkins fumble was the game-winner.
