PREGAME NOTES

As expected, both David Pastrnak and Hampus Lindholm will not play on Sunday — with Bruce Cassidy noting that the team didn’t want to over-exert both skaters in a back-to-back slate. Both players did not have any injury-related setbacks during Saturday’s win over New York.

With Lindholm and Pastrnak not playing, Marc McLaughlin and Mike Reilly will slot back into the lineup. 

Jeremy Swayman will get the start in net for Boston. 

Sam Montembeault is expected to start for Montreal after Carey Price made 20 saves in a 6-4 loss at the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.
