PREGAME NOTES:

The Bruins will close out preseason action with a lineup that looks awfully close to the personnel we might see during Boston’s season opener against the Stars on Oct. 16. 

With Jeremy Swayman pushing for the starting spot in net next week, Linus Ullmark will get the chance to make a strong final impression in preseason action on Wednesday. The veteran is expected to play all of Wednesday’s matchup against the Caps.

Up front, Charlie Coyle will be the most interesting skater to follow — as the veteran will make his preseason debut and center a second line with Craig Smith and Taylor Hall.
