Final: Blue Jays 6, Red Sox 2

The Red Sox scratched out two runs in the top of the eighth inning to forge a tie, but it didn't last long. Bo Bichette's grand slam in the bottom of the eighth broke the game open for the Toronto Blue Jays, 6-2, for the Red Sox' third straight loss.

Solo homers from Loudes Gurriel Jr. and Matt Chapman off starter Nate Eovaldi gave the Jays a 2-0 lead before a run-scoring single from Kike Hernandez and a sacrifice fly from Alex Verdugo evened things up.

But Bichette grabbed the lead back with his first career grand slam off Tyler Danish and the Sox lost for the fifth time in the last six games, held to just two runs.
