Final: Red Sox 6, Tigers 3 - Boston bounces back to take series from Detroit
The Red Sox returned to the win column with Sunday's 6-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers at Fenway to finish the homestand off on a high note and take the series. Trevor Story went 4-for-4 with three doubles and two runs, and Justin Turner (2-for-5, R, RBI, 2 K) and Adam Duvall (2-for-4, R, 4 RBI, 1 K) each homered. Duvall's three-run homer in the fifth provided critical insurance. Kutter Crawford went 4.2 innings, allowing three hits and two earned runs. Garrett Whitlock picked up the win, giving up one unearned run with three strikeouts in two hitless innings of work in the sixth and seventh. Kenley Jansen earned the save with a scoreless ninth.

WHAT'S UP
The Red Sox' brief three-game win streak ended with Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Tigers. Boston has a chance to take the series and end an up-and-down homestand on a high note.
Rafael Devers has the day off, as Alex Cora alluded to Saturday. The Sox will trot out a righty-heavy lineup against old friend and Tigers ace Eduardo Rodriguez, who returns to Boston for the first time as a visitor. Over his last seven starts, he's 4-1 with a 3.73 ERA.
Crawford went five innings and allowed one run against Detroit on April 9 in his first win of the season. Sunday will mark his third career start against the Tigers.
The Red Sox activated RHP Garrett Whitlock from the injured list. He will be available out of the bullpen. Boston optioned RHP Kyle Barraclough to Worcester to accommodate Whitlock, who went 2.1 scoreless innings in his latest rehab outing on Wednesday with the WooSox.
