Rafael Devers cracked a two-run homer in the eighth inning and five Red Sox relievers combined to allow just one hit as the Sox blanked the Seattle Mariners, 2-0.
The win capped an 8-2 road trip on the West Coast, with the Red Sox winning all three series. The Sox are 7--1-2 over their last 10 series.
The game was scoreless until the eighth, when Rob Refsnyder was hit by a pitch with two out, setting the stage for Devers' heroics with his 14th homer of the season.
