Final: Red Sox 8, A's 0 - Sox win in romp

Four players had multi-hit games, part of a 14-hit attack, as the Red Sox blanked the Oakland A's, 8-0, for their third win in a row. The victory pulled the Sox within a game of the .500 mark.

Nick Pivetta was brilliant over seven innings, allowing just two hits and two walks while fanning seven.

Meanwhile, Rafael Devers, Alex Verdugo and Franchy Cordero each had two RBI as the Sox took a 3-0 lead in the third and later tacked on four more in the eighth.
