Josh Winckowski pitched well, allowing two runs -- one earned -- over six innings. Two Red Sox errors -- one by Rafael Devers, one by Winckowski -- led to the first two Cubs' runs.

Chicago added a big insurance run in the eighth off Tanner Houck.
