Final: Red Sox 10, White Sox 3 - Red Sox combine for 4 home runs in win against White Sox
The Red Sox win the first game of their series against the Chicago White Sox 10-3 recording four home runs on the night.
Hunter Dobbins made his second career start after getting recalled from Worcester, and the 25 year old righty had another dominant start pitching 6.0 innings and only allowing 1 earned run on 3 hits. Dobbins did an excellent job limiting the White Sox to soft contact hits while also picking up 6 K's on the day.
At the plate the Red Sox dominated using a righty dominant lineup against left handed pitcher Martin Perez. Boston got their offense started early with Trevor Story hitting a three run home run in the first inning.

Story was the MVP for Boston tonight recording another multi hit game while also tallying 6 RBI's for the Red Sox. Boston's short stop has played amazing to start the season and has been one of the strongest bats for Boston this season. Dobbins had another great start and the righty might solidify himself a spot at the end of Boston's rotation after tonight.
The Red Sox will continue their series against Chicago with Garrett Crochet on the mound. First pitch will be at 4:10 p.m.

WHAT'S UP
The Red Sox play their second series against the Chicago White Sox of the season. In their first series, Boston went 1-2 against Chicago at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Boston reinstated third baseman Alex Bregman from paternity leave. They also recalled righty Hunter Dobbins who will make his second career big league start tonight.
To clear up space, the Red Sox sent down Nick Sogard to Triple-A Worcester and designated veteran right-hander Michael Fulmer for assignment.
Facing left-handed pitcher Martin Perez, Rob Refsnyder will get the start in right field and Romy Gonazlez is in the starting lineup at first.
