Michael Wacha tossed a brilliant complete game shutout, allowing just three hits, as the Red Sox blanked the Los Angeles Angels 1-0 for their fifth straight win.

Wacha allowed two hits in the first inning, and then only run the rest of the way to become the third Sox starter this season to throw a complete game this season. Previously, Nick Pivetta and Nathan Eovaldi went the distance.

The lone run of the game in the second when Christian Vazquez singled home Alex Verdugo.

For the Angels, it was their 12th loss in a row.
