PRE-GAME NOTES
Alex Speier noted Triston Casas' 431-foot home run off LHP Patrick Corbin on Thursday marked the longest by a lefty not named Shohei Ohtani against left-handed pitching outside of Colorado. He hit only his third home run this season against a lefty. Casas finished sixth all-time with 25 home runs through 420 at-bats before turning 23. He bats fifth against RHP Jhony Brito, who handled bulk work last week and is scheduled to open tonight's game with Carlos Rodon (hamstring) and Nestor Cortes (shoulder) injured for New York.
