
Final: Red Sox 4, Orioles 3
The Red Sox got a two-run homer from Kike Hernandez and another strong start from Michael Wacha for a 4-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.
Wacha, who shut out the Yankees for seven innings in his last start, provided another 6.2 scoreless innings, while allowing just four hits.
Hernandez's homer came in the sixth and put the Sox ahead 3-0. A one-out double by Christian Arroyo scored a big insurance run in the top of the ninth.
Garrett Whitlock provided two innings of relief to earn the save.
