• Neither team will be playing their starters.

• The Seahawks will also rest their starters for the entire preseason.

• I don't think many roster spots are up for grabs. I don't think the Patriots will be keeping three running backs. I think they'll stash a couple on the practice squad.

• Depth cornerback spots could be up for grabs.

• James Hudson could hang onto to a tackle spot — if he plays there tonight — if Marcus Bryant is really banged up.

• Andy Borregales and new punter Matt Haack will be watched closely.
