FINAL: Chiefs 27, Patriots 17 - Offense vanishes in 2nd half, killer penalties do in NE taken at Gillette Stadium (Patriots)

(Adam Richins for BSJ)

Chiefs are just a better team. That's the story.

Patriots made it interesting as Bailey Zappe played a terrific first half, but that quickly disappeared in the second half.

The Patriots also had some killer penalties to wipe out a TD and an intentional grounding penalty.

And New England suffered a ton of injuries, while JC Jackson was MIA.
