NOTES

This is an In-Season tournament game. The Celtics will be playing on a special court and wearing their city edition uniforms

THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR

1. Taking advantage of size: The Nets have no interior presence, so the Celtics can punish them with their size all over the floor. Watch for the Celtics to find Porzingis post ups, especially against the switching defense. This is a game where the Celtics can really punish the Nets and then start spraying it for easy looks from three afterwards.

2. Transition defense: The Nets will run, run, run and they’ll pull from deep whenever they get the chance. The Celtics need to get back and stay attached to the guys they pick up. They will be in cross-match hell because of the size differences, but they have to stick with it and make sure they're not allowing easy looks.

3. Jaylen Brown: He’s had a rough shooting start to the season. This could be a chance to find him a rhythm without pressing.

4. Jayson Tatum’s passing: You know what? Put me down for a Tatum triple double tonight. He’ll score plenty, and there will be a lot of rebounds for him to get. The question is whether his passing will lead to points. I think we’ll see it happen.

Follow along with my thoughts as the game goes on. They’ll show up below and in the comments section, so hop in and share your opinion as well.
