THREE THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR

1. Jaylen Brown’s effectiveness: Not that the Celtics need him to win this series, but they’ll need him moving forward so I want to see where he is with his recovery, how he’s moving, and how he’s adjusted his game. Look for him to work out of the post a little more as he gets to a spot near the basket first and then operates.

2. Breaking the Magic defense: Can they get the Magic to ditch their core defensive principles? If Brown or Jayson Tatum can pick the defense apart, they might force Orlando to help more than they’d like to. Once that happens, the kick-outs for 3s follow.

3. Caleb Martin: No, not the actual Caleb Martin. His season is over. But will there be another one? The Celtics defense is geared to let the right guys get the right shots, but we know sometimes those guys go nuts and it can be infuriating.

Follow along with my thoughts as the game goes on. They’ll show up below and in the comments section, so hop in and share your opinion as well.
