THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR

1. Identity: Which Celtics will show up after an embarrassing loss to Brooklyn? When the Celtics move the ball and play with good energy, they are able to get stops, defend without fouling quite as much, and puts some points up. The version of the Celtics on Friday night looked disconnected.

The Celtics don't have a choice but to play together if they want to win.

2. Jaylen Brown doing less: I think Brown is missing some easy reads that would force defenses to work a little harder to defend the Celtics. I think it's because he feels like he has to do so much scoring that he's not as focused as he needs to be on that kind of stuff. At the same time, his centers needs to look to move the ball a bit more themselves.

I think if Brown dials it back by even 10% and moves the ball a little more, he can he can help get other guys going a bit more.

3. Rebound: The Orlando offense isn't good and they're missing their best player, so I expect missed jumpers. The Celtics have to clear those to get out and running. They also need to pump up their own second chances to make up for what is generally a slow game against Orlando.

Follow along with my thoughts as the game goes on. They’ll show up below and in the comments section, so hop in and share your opinion as well.
