Final: Celtics 119, Bucks 116 - Celtics blow big lead but hold on
BOSTON CELTICS vs. MILWAUKEE BUCKS
7:30 p.m., NBCS Boston/ESPN
Line: Boston -5.5
INJURIES
Boston: Jayson Tatum (QUESTIONABLE, AVAILABLE non-COVID illness)
Milwaukee: Jae Crowder (OUT, adductor)
THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR
1. Jrue Holiday’s revenge: The trade out of Milwaukee might have been understandable, but it wasn’t exactly welcome or enjoyed by the Holiday family. You can’t tell me Holiday won’t be picking Damian Lillard up full court, hounding him at every turn, and generally trying to make his life hell. I’m betting the Celtics run a Holiday post up on Lillard on the first play of the game.
2. Jayson Tatum: I’m taking a risk here that questionable will turn into “out,” but I doubt it. He’s going through his normal warmups and this is an ESPN game against the Bucks. He’d have to be pretty sick to miss this game, and I’m betting he wants to have another 40-piece that comes with a win.
3: Jaylen Brown playing within himself: He’s playing like he has something to prove. He does not. I’d like to see him start out in the flow of the game, and keep a nice comfort level the whole way through. There's no need to force anything.
Follow along with my thoughts as the game goes on. They’ll show up below and in the comments section, so hop in and share your opinion as well.
