What to watch for: The Boston Celtics will have a chance to bounce back after a tough loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night. They traveled south for a date with the Miami Heat.

Jayson Tatum and Neemias Queta will be back in the lineup after missing Monday’s game, and Jaylen Brown remains off the injury report for the second straight game.

Tale of the tape: This will be the fourth and final time the Celtics and Heat square off this season. Boston is 3-0 heading into Wednesday night.

In their first matchup of the year, on December 19, the Celtics picked up a 129-116 victory on the back of 33 points from Derrick White.

Then, on January 15, Anfernee Simons led Boston on a massive comeback at the Kaseya Center. The Celtics were down by as many as 19 points, but Simons’ 39 points lifted them back into the game.

Lastly, in Miami and Boston’s most recent meeting, the Celtics earned a second comeback win. On February 6, the Heat led by 22 in the second quarter, but a third-quarter surge brought Boston back into the game.

Brown, White, and Payton Pritchard combined to score 74.

Last game: On Monday night, Boston suffered a brutal loss to the Atlanta Hawks, falling 109-102. Brown nearly had a triple-double, but his six turnovers and inefficient shooting (9-of-29) contributed to one of his worst games of the season.

With Tatum and Queta sidelined, Luka Garza stepped up into the starting lineup, pouring in an impressive 20 points, but it wasn’t enough.

Boston’s offense simply didn’t execute—partly a result of Atlanta’s defensive pressure and partly due to their own mistakes—and the Hawks made them pay.

Standings check-in: All hope of climbing up to the No. 1 seed seems to be lost, as the Celtics are now 4.5 games back of the Detroit Pistons.

However, Boston has also gained a 2.5-game lead over the third-place New York Knicks. It’s looking more and more likely that they will stay in the No. 2 spot.

Heat check-in: Miami won its last game, but it hasn’t been playing particularly well lately. The Heat have gone just 3-7 in their last 10 games.

Bam Adebayo has been leading the way in his last nine games. He has put up 20.9 points, 11.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals. However, he hasn’t been particularly efficient, shooting just 38.2% from the floor and 20.7% from deep on 6.4 three-point attempts.

Tyler Herro has been right behind him, averaging 20.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists (in his last nine) while shooting 45.6% from the floor and 34.3% from beyond the arc on 7.8 attempts.

Pelle Larsson and Jaime Jaquez Jr. have both been playing well, too. Larsson has averaged 15.3 points in his last 10, and Jaquez has put up 13.4 points in his last eight.

One fun play: On this play, Sam Hauser gets a flare screen from Amari Williams. But instead of Pritchard passing him the ball, he passes it to Williams.

Hauser immediately runs to the corner to screen for Brown, bringing him up to the wing. The Hawks don’t switch on defense, Williams hands it off to Brown, and the Celtics get an open three.
