What to watch for: There isn’t a hotter team in the Eastern Conference than the Boston Celtics right now. Not only is their three-game winning streak the longest in the conference, but all three wins have come against high-quality competition.

And now, they’ll face off against one of the teams they beat: The Atlanta Hawks. This time, however, they’ll be in enemy territory.

Tale of the tape: This will be the fourth and final time the Celtics and Hawks have played each other this season.

The most recent matchup between the two was this past Friday. Boston picked up a 109-102 victory on the back of a 36-point, seven-rebound, four-assist performance from Payton Pritchard.

Before that, the Celtics took a small beating from the Hawks at TD Garden on January 28. Nickeil Alexander-Walker’s 21 points led Atlanta to a 117-106 win.

But in the first game between these two sides this season, the Celtics picked up a massive 132-106 win. It was back on January 17, and Boston was led by Jaylen Brown’s 41 points and Sam Hauser’s 30 points on 10-of-21 shooting from three-point range.

Last game: The Celtics are fresh off a big-time win on Sunday night. They picked up a 114-99 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.

Jayson Tatum led the way with his best performance of the season so far. He put up 32 points, five rebounds, and eight assists while shooting 12-of-23 from the floor and 5-of-10 from deep.

Pritchard was right behind him. He dropped 28 points, six rebounds, and six assists.

Standings check-in: Though the Celtics have been playing well, the Detroit Pistons still hold a 4.5-game lead over them in first place. However, Boston is now 1.5 games up on the third-place New York Knicks.

Hawks check-in: Not much has changed for the Hawks since the Celtics saw them two games ago.

Atlanta has only played one game since taking on Boston. They beat up on the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, picking up a 123-113 win at home.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker has been on fire in his last 10 games. He’s been averaging 23.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while shooting 51.8% from the field and 46.6% from deep on 7.3 three-point attempts per contest.

Right behind him has been Jalen Johnson. In his last eight games, Johnson has averaged 22.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 9.3 assists while shooting 47.6% from the floor and 39.0% from deep on 7.4 attempts.

Meanwhile, CJ McCollum has also caught fire since getting traded to Atlanta at the deadline. In his last 10 games, he has averaged 20.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists while shooting 48.4% from the field and 33.8% from beyond the arc on 7.1 three-point attempts per contest.

One fun play: Look at how worried the Hornets are about Pritchard on this play.

Ron Harper Jr. goes to set a flare screen for Pritchard, but Charlotte doesn’t want to give him space to shoot the three. So, they send extra pressure, but they do so without help on the back line.

As soon as Josh Green helps, Harper cuts to the rim for an easy bucket.

It was a miscommunication on Charlotte’s part, but also great awareness by Harper to read and react to the play in real time.
