THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR
1. Jaylen Brown’s groin injury: He’s playing, which I disagree with. Brown tested it at shoot around and pregame and they’ve determined he’s good to go.
Personally, I don’t like to mess around with groin injuries in particular because basketball is very much a lateral movement game. And because it’s a soft tissue thing, there is a risk of it getting worse.
I’m sure the team doctors and trainers have considered all of this, but I still don’t like it. Hopefully I’m wrong and he’s fine.
2. Focus: The Grizzlies are decimated by injuries and, frankly, just an awful team. These kinds of games scare me. Boston has been great about staying focused against bad teams before, let’s see if they can keep it up with a strong start here.
3. 3-point barrage: The Grizzlies are the worst team in the league defending the 3-point line. They give up a ton and a ton of open ones. The Celtics loooove to shoot the 3, so they're going to be firing away. This could be a 60 3-point attempt night.
