Last time they played: Celtics 121, Timberwolves 109, December 23 - The TWolves were shorthanded, but they didn’t go down easily. It was another back-and-forth affair where Boston played great, then horribly, then great, then horribly, and so on. Finally, though, in the fourth quarter, Jaylen Brown woke up from a horrible nightmare of a game to play a dream fourth quarter, dropping 23 to carry the Celtics to a double-digit win.

A little something about this game: The last time Minnesota won at home was February 5. The Celtics have lost 5 of their last 8 games. Anthony Edwards has scored at least 30 points in each of his last 3 games, including 32 in a win over Atlanta on Monday.

Things I’m looking for:

- Consistent effort: For the love of God, don’t do the same thing again. Show us that you’ve actually learned something from the past couple of weeks. Show us that you took the loss to Houston personally, took it to heart, and are willing to come out and play hard for the better part of 48 minutes. The last thing anyone wants to see is the same lackadaisical effort. Show us that you care about how things have gone and that you want to change things.

- Limit Mike Conley: Edwards is going to score his fair share of points, but Conley is averaging nearly 20 points in Minnesota’s last three wins. If the Celtics can keep him from scoring double digits, the Wolves offense will stall. They're not a big offensive rebounding team, so the Celtics can probably string some runs together if they get the ball out of Conley’s hands.

- Run off turnovers: They have the fifth-worst turnover percentage in the league, so amp up the pressure and run off those mistakes. The TWolves also have the fifth-best opponent turnover percentage, so it’s up to Boston to protect the ball on the offensive end while pumping up the pressure on D.

Follow along below or in the comments during the game, chime in, and let’s have fun.
