PREGAME NOTES

The Bruins did not hold a morning skate on Thursday, so any lineup changes will get announced about 90 minutes ahead of puck drop. 

The Jets, who have won three out of their last four games, have been on the top surprises in the NHL this season. Kyle Connor scored twice against Ottawa on Tuesday and added an assist to extend his point streak to 10 games (seven goals, 10 assists). Josh Morrissey also scored and has logged an assist in the same number of consecutive contests (one goal, 12 assists).

Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck, who starred at UMass Lowell,  missed the last two games (non-COVID illness). However, he will get the start for the Jets on Thursday.
