The Bruins defeated the Nashville Predators 3-0 in a hard fought game on Tuesday night at Bridgestone Arena.

The Bruins continue their road trip to the Music City to the face the predators on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. 

  • James Van Riemsdyk will be back in the lineup on the line with Morgan Geekie and Trent Frederic. Jakub Lauko will be the scratch tonight in front. 
  • “I guess what he was doing earlier in the year when he was on top of pucks, he was executing in all three zones and making things happen,”  Jim Montgomery told reporters when asked what JVR needs to do to remain in the lineup.
  • “The strengths of my game are just playing smart, playing with detail, making the right play all the time and playing within the structure of the team,”  Van Riemsdyk added. “Those are the things that we’re trying to work on," JVR continued. 
  • Mason Lohrei will return tonight on the back end after sitting out the past three games as a healthy scratch. 
  • Pat Maroon was once again a full participant today in morning skate.
