PREGAME NOTES

Don’t expect any lineup changes from the grouping that Jim Montgomery rolled out on Tuesday — with Taylor Hall back in the lineup and skating on the top line, and Pavel Zacha skating with his fellow Czechia countrymen in David Krejci and David Pastrnak.

A.J. Greer will skate on the third line next to Charlie Coyle and Craig Smith, while Jakub Lauko will make his NHL debut and skate on the fourth line. 

Even though Hall returned in time for Wednesday’s season opener, Matt Grzelcyk, Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy remain on the shelf due to offseason procedures. Grzelcyk did skate on Wednesday with the main group in a full-contact sweater.

Montgomery did not officially confirm a starting goaltender on Wednesday, but Linus Ullmark was the first goalie off the ice following Wednesday’s morning skate. 

Anton Stralman officially inked his one-year contract with the Bruins on Wednesday, but the veteran blueline will not be able to play until he settles a visa-related issue.
