Hurricanes will be going with their Hartford Whalers throwbacks against the Bs.

Coach Jim Montgomery told reporters that Patrice Bergeron (illness), Brad Marchand, and Hampus Lindholm (nagging injuries) will not play this afternoon in Carolina. A.J. Greer, Oskar Steen, and Jakub Zboril sub in.

The Bruins are 1-1-0 against the Hurricanes this season. They beat the Canes 3-2 in overtime on Nov. 25. Canes evened it in Carolina 4-1 on Jan. 29.

Different Hurricanes this time around. F Andrei Svechnikov was lost for the season (ACL). The Hurricanes picked up D Shayne Gostisbehere and F Jesse Puljujärvi before the trade deadline.
