Final: Red Sox 6, Tigers 2

The Red Sox completed a sweep of the Detroit Tigers with a 6-2 victory to close out a 7-2 homestand.

The Tigers took a quick 2-0 lead three batters into the game, but the Red Sox got a two-run double from Jarren Duran and a two-run homer from Rob Refsnyder in the fourth and took the lead for good.

Alex Verdugo added a two-run single in the fifth to account for the other two runs.

Michael Wacha won for the third time in his last four starts with six strong innings.
