PREGAME NOTES

While Brandon Carlo, Hampus Lindholm and David Pastrnak remain sidelined once again, Matt Grzelcyk is expected to slot back into the lineup after missing Tuesday’s game against the Blues. 

The Bruins will reshuffle their lineup ahead of Thursday’s matchup, with Jesper Froden slotting in the top-six unit and Trent Frederic scratched. Tomas Nosek will take Frederic’s spot on the third line, while Marc McLaughlin will center the fourth line. 

Linus Ullmark will get the start in net. 

The Bruins will have a chance to clinch a playoff berth tonight. If they defeat the Senators in any fashion AND Pittsburgh defeats the Islanders in any fashion, the Bruins will clinch. They can also clinch if the Bruins get one point against Ottawa AND Pittsburgh defeats the Islanders in regulation.
