PREGAME NOTES

Jeremy Swayman will get the start in net once again as Boston looks for its seventh win in what stands as the B's eighth and final meeting with Buffalo this season. Mike Reilly is dealing with a nagging injury and did not practice Friday, but Bruce Cassidy expects the defenseman to play this afternoon. Chris Wagner also didn't practice on Friday, with Cassidy adding that the fourth-liner will probably not be cleared to play.

Brandon Carlo practiced once again on Friday, but won't be cleared to play until at least Monday or Tuesday at the Devils. "Which game, I don't know," Cassidy said of Carlo's availability in New Jersey. "My guess is the trainers will not want to play him in back-to-backs to start. That seems to be the way…guys coming off injuries, not to rush them back, give them a day to heal. I don't know if he'll play the front end or the back end, that might depend on how our health is going into Jersey. But that's the goal right now."
