With the NFL being the NFL, there is no shortage of hyperbole and outlandishness when it comes to the discussions around teams. The league is a beast and people line up to say anything and everything to fill all the hot air before, after and between games.
A lot gets said. Some of it makes sense. Some of it doesn't (even from yours truly). Basically, it's just all a bunch of hot air.
I usually don't listen to a lot of the chatter, but considering the Patriots are in the market for a new (any) quarterback, I'm listening more and then trying to figure what's true or not.
So that leads me to Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, who everyone seems to think will definitely be available in the offseason.
But is that really true? NFL personnel executives are somewhat split on that.
