BSJ Daily Briefing 12.02.20: Just say no to the Alex Smiths of the world; Celtics back in the swing

Good afternoon!

Your daily rundown of what's going on with the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Revolution, and what's about to happen...

  • Busy catching up on CyberMonday business, which was robust for us — thank you!
  • So for those new to us, welcome. To those that have returned, welcome back.
  • If you've emailed the help desk (me) over the past couple days, trust me, you will hear from me, you'll get whatever you request, just give me a couple of days to get caught up. And if you don't hear from me by Friday, email again to wake my butt up.
  • So, let's see how my Tuesday went. First, Cattles and I got into it a couple times on the podcast, then I was screaming at Felger for two hours, then I finally polished off my review, which probably angered Cattles again.
  • Seriously, Alex Smith? He has a worse QBR than Cam Newton. I'm not budging on this. If the Patriots are wading through the likes of Alex Smith next year, then the transition from Tom Brady is just a disaster. What was the point of this season then?
  • B-Robb was all over Celtics media day. Suddenly, Danny was talking a lot.
  • Not good on Kemba.
  • Matt Barnes contract talk.
  • Revs fever baby!
  • We have NFL action this afternoon. That's going to be weird.
