Physical traits: Huge lower body in the thighs and glutes. Long legs, shorter torso. Strong upper body.

Strengths

Good snap off the ball, usually gets initial movement.
Plays with good awareness, keeps an eye the ball and adjusts his leverage. Basically two gaps according to where the ball is.
Does well stacking at the point while leveraging the ball.
Plays to the whistle with great hustle.
Penetrates gaps well and that's his best trait. Think he'd be a better fit for a 4-3 scheme where he could penetrate.
Shows good awareness before the snap — looks into the backfield, reads his keys as far as sets and alignments.
Plays anywhere from 0 technique head-up on the center to three-technique.
Hard to move one-on-one by the center.

Weaknesses

Not the swiftest of feet nor speed.
Hit and miss as to whether he's in short-yardage or goal-line packages. Didn't play very much behind Vea and that was legit
Didn't do anything against Saints LG Nick Easton, C Erik McCoy — both average players.
Does not hold up well against double-teams despite his rep for being very strong.
Looks like he was dealing with a right knee injury last season — something is up with his knees, would check them closely on physical.
Can be walled off if blocker gains initial leverage — not many countermoves to get back into the play.
On pass rush, only wins on initial burst. Not many pass rush moves.
