PREGAME NOTES:

  • The Bruins will look to close out their three-game road trip with a sweep when they take on the slumping Panthers on Thursday night. Florida is 0-6-1 at home since a 4-3 victory against the Los Angeles Kings on Jan. 16, including a 3-0 loss to the Calgary Flames on Sunday.

  • Panthers netminder Sergei Bobrovsky will not play and is listed as day to day after being scratched from his scheduled start against Calgary because of a lower-body injury sustained in warmups. Chris Driedger will get the start for Florida.

  • Jaroslav Halak will get the start in net for Boston, while Anders Bjork will slot in for Par Lindholm on Boston’s fourth line. Brad Marchand will play despite battling an illness for most of Tuesday’s win over the Lightning.

  • Noel Acciari will look to do some damage against his former club, with the Providence College product scoring 20 goals in his first season with Florida. He scored 18 goals in 180 games with Boston.
