It's been a very quiet winter for the Red Sox.
They've signed less than a handful of significant players to their roster and didn't make a single trade of consequence.
But that's about to change this week.
As the team's equipment truck leaves Fenway Park today for the journey to Fort Myers, this figures to be a very newsworthy week indeed for the Sox.
Between now and the end of the week, the Sox could very well:
- hire a manager to replace Alex Cora.
- trade Mookie Betts, their best player.
- find out what punishment -- if any -- they're facing from the investigation into the 2018 sign-stealing scandal.
