Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder who the next Patriots kicker will be (yes, this is what I wrote on the same day last week ... still applies)...
- Patriots keep preparing for the Chiefs and are much healthier than they were a week ago:
- Chiefs have some pretty significant injuries, with RB Damien Williams still not practicing. Frank Clark was out Thursday.
- Patriots still don't have a kicker after putting in a claim for Chase McLaughlin. Maybe they're waiting to see if Nick Folk is ready.
- I saw it and heard it in KC last week: the Chiefs' secondary is much better than last season.
- Another good game for the Celtics tonight, hosting Denver.
- Bruins spotted the Blackhawks a three-goal lead, stormed back to force overtime and then fell.
- They're going to start playing in the first two periods at some point, right?
- John Moore doesn't give any...
- Red Sox all set at shortstop.
